I'm leading DataBlend's expansion in UKI and across Europe, focusing on transforming how finance teams work. My role is both strategic and hands-on - building our partner ecosystem (particularly with Sage Intacct) while directly engaging with finance teams looking to win time back.
One day I'm delivering demos showing how we eliminate 20+ hours of manual work per week, the next I'm developing partner relationships or attending events. Seeing finance professionals transform from data processors to strategic business partners and businesses turbocharge growth from better admin, makes my role feel purposeful.
The mission alignment really drives me - we're solving real pain points I've seen throughout my career in finance. Companies are at an inflection point where finance automation isn't just nice-to-have, it's essential for competitiveness. Being part of a company with proven product-market fit that's expanding internationally means I get to build something from the ground up while leveraging our success with 1,000+ customers globally.
I use DataBlend principles in my own daily work - using our tools to easily connect our prospecting, CRM and communication systems, and keep track of partner relationships. In terms of AI tooling, enrichment and intent trackers are great at helping rapidly reach relevant prospects, and AI note takers help to speed up deal admin and unlock deal info that is sometimes missed due to time constraints.
