I’m from the Boston area and live in Southborough MA.
I’m a failed auditor who started in sales after college and quickly regretted it. Early in my career I walked into a recruiting firm saying I wanted to get out of sales and become an accountant. A month later I was a recruiter for that firm helping CFO’s and controller hire accountants, and I never looked back.
My role at DataBlend is to expand net new sales by helping more finance leaders become wildly successful by integrating their financial applications with our easy-to-use platform.
I have been around DataBlend since it first went to market in 2015, and it was an essential part of my sales motion at Adaptive Planning. To see it transform from a line item on an SOW, to a fast-growing company with hundreds of customers is amazing.
I’m so old that my first CRM system was Excel. The first time I had a real CRM that was best practice was critical in my career. I could research the person and the company, make the call, and afterwards, press one button that would record the activity, send an email, and schedule a follow up. It changed the game for me in terms of productivity and it’s my goal to have my customers experience be just as profound.
