Sage Future for Partners 2025: Key Takeaways for Finance Teams

Written by Kate Johnson | Nov 19, 2025 12:57:58 AM

DataBlend was proud to sponsor this year's Sage Future for Partners event in both Orlando and Barcelona. This year, the DataBlend team was well represented, with Ethan Carlson, Erik Neilssen, and Laura Merola attending in Orlando, and Alex Astengo and Valentina Pereyaslavets joining in Barcelona.

At both events, DataBlend's role in the Sage ecosystem was on full display. Attendees understood our capabilities and how we solve complex integration challenges. In Sage and partner conversations, the message was consistent: there's strong demand for a solution like DataBlend, one that bridges Sage products, particularly Sage Intacct, with ease and reliability to over 200 finance and accounting applications.

DataBlend Honored by Sage in Orlando and Barcelona

We were utterly blown away by the support at both events for being named Sage's Global Tech Partner of the Year in Orlando and FY25 Sage UKI Technology Partner of the Year in Barcelona! Winning both awards highlights the strength of our partnership with Sage and our shared commitment to empowering finance teams through seamless data automation.

It was all about AI!

The unmistakable theme of this year's Sage Future for Partners was AI. From keynotes to breakout sessions to conversations in the sponsor Hub, AI was a thread running through nearly every discussion.

As part of the AI theme, Sage introduced a new Finance Intelligence Agent for Intacct, built around an "agentic AI" model. Users will be able to ask natural-language questions and receive routed insights from specialized agents inside the product.

In addition to Finance Intelligence, Sage announced Early Access for the cloud version of Sage X3 alongside a roadmap for upcoming Copilot-style and agentic AI features.

The last major announcement we want to share is about Sage's AI Trust Label, which demonstrates Sage's leadership in explainability, auditability, and data transparency for finance teams adopting AI. AI Trust Label is now live in Sage Intacct.

To conclude, it's worth reflecting on a quote from Sage's CTO, Aaron Harris: "Trust arrives on foot and departs on a horse." In today's AI-driven (dare we say obsessed) world, this idea is more relevant than ever. It's easy to get caught up in the AI hype, with every company, application, and tool claiming to have AI capabilities. Sage's approach prioritizes building trust first, and at DataBlend, we share that philosophy. Our platform is trusted by finance and accounting teams for reliable, secure connections across systems, ensuring data integrity at every step.
