Wrapping Up 2024: A Year of Growth and Innovation at DataBlend

As 2024 comes to a close, we are reflecting on an incredible year of growth, innovation, and connection. Our mission is and will continue to be providing accounting and finance the integrations needed to streamline order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and reporting processes at a price that is within reach. Here's a look back at the highlights of 2024.

New Connectors, Expanded Possibilities

One of our biggest priorities this year was expanding our integration capabilities. Every organization's tech stack is unique, and seamless connectivity is critical for driving efficiency. That's why we're thrilled to announce the launch of 11 new standard connections + nearly 50 others via our custom script plug-in.

The 11 new standard connections are:

These new connectors demonstrate our commitment to empowering you with the tools you already know and love while also removing data silos.

In 2024, we made 150 updates to our connectors in addition to eleven brand-new ones. These include Acumatica, Sage Intacct, Workday Adaptive Planning, ADP, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Stripe, Zoho, and many more!

DataBlend's New Improved User Experience

We didn't stop at adding and updating new connectors. This year also marked the rollout of DataBlend's updated user interface.

Key updates include:

1. A more modern-looking interface
2. New tab layout for Collectors, Data Targets and Workflows
3. Less boxy design for pages like the "Search" pages, Workflow Wizard, Data Table, File Upload, SFTP Client

DataBlend's New Features

DataBlend added several new features in 2024 including:

2. File Email: files can be emailed to a specific address to kick off a workflow in DataBlend – see it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5Zl4pNQ49g
3. Approvals: allow for approval of data before a workflow kicks off
4. Webhook Listeners: leveraging webhook capabilities from APIs that support them
5. Workflow Wizards: several new wizards added, including HubSpot -> Sage Intacct, SFTP -> Sage Intacct and Google Sheets -> QuickBooks Online
6. PostgreSQL Storage Type: collectors can store data into a PostgreSQL database

Stronger Relationships with the Finance Community

2024 was also a year of meaningful engagement with our customers and partners. We launched our DataBlend Certified Implementer Training Program, which has trained over a dozen DataBlend partners.

DataBlend has joined and updated several new marketplaces, including our ADP API Central Marketplace listing and our HubSpot Marketplace listing, and has added DataBlend ERP for Invoice and ERP for Expense to the SAP Concur Marketplace.

We sponsored and participated in several industry-leading events, including:

1. Finance & Accounting Technology Expo (FATE): Showcased how DataBlend can transform financial operations.
2. DCPA Conference: Reinforced our position as a trusted partner for CPA firms and their clients.
3. Accountex: Showcased how DataBlend's solutions can help connect finance and accounting systems in real-time.
4. Sage Transform: Launched Sage Intacct Data Flows and strengthened our partnership with Sage and the Sage Partner ecosystem.
5. financeSHOWCASE Manchester and Birmingham: Demonstrated how DataBlend's solutions can facilitate real-time connections between finance and accounting systems.

These events, along with countless virtual events and podcasts, allowed us to connect, gain deeper insights, and share how DataBlend can help finance professionals achieve their goals, increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and scale successfully.

In 2025, you can expect even more exciting developments, including:
