Creative Planning Business Services, a full services Tax and Accounting firm, which is part of Creative Planning, a top rated Registered Independent Advisory firm, needed a reliable integration solution to streamline financial data processing for their clients. Creative Planning first connected with DataBlend at the DCPA conference. After discussing their needs, it became clear that DataBlend could automate and simplify their process of getting financial data from many systems. The Challenge

Creative Planning first turned to DataBlend to integrate financial data for three clients. DataBlend handled the implementation for two clients, while Creative Planning, leveraging their newly gained expertise, successfully self-implemented the third.

For the two clients that DataBlend implemented, Creative Planning needed to integrate financial data from Spektrix and Square into Sage Intacct.

The Solution

DataBlend implemented two automated workflows from SFTP to Sage Intacct, transforming the complex source data into journal entries.

This process involved:

Reformatting and cleaning up the raw data to ensure accuracy and usability.
Utilizing lookup tables to standardize information.
Seamlessly importing the data into Sage Intacct.
