On March 5th, 2026, we will be changing the option for "Erase Data" on Adaptive Data Targets for Import Standard Data and Import Cube Data, from a single toggle to a multi-select method.
Append - This will be the default option when the Data Target is not using "Erase Data".
Replace - This is the new API properties that will allow users to specify which data should be replaced in Adaptive.
Erase Data - You will see this option selected if your Data Target is currently configured to “Erase Data”.
We received notice and have logged error messages from Adaptive, notifying us that "Using Erase Data will not be supported for audited versions in a forthcoming release and degrades performance for other versions. Please switch to "Replace Mode" as soon as possible.
If your data target is setup to use "Erase Data", please update to the "Replace" option as soon as possible. We will continue to support the "Erase Data" until Adaptive officially deprecates it but you will receive the warning noted above in your logs.
For step-by-step instructions on how to update, review this guide.
Confirm if your data target is using "Erase Data" functionality.
Update to the "Replace" option that will be available in our release on March 5th, 2026.
