We’re excited to introduce some significant updates to DataBlend’s user interface! Our team has been hard at work redesigning the platform to provide a more intuitive, streamlined experience for implementors and end-users. Below we have listed the updates happening on Thursday, September 19th. In addition, [we have recorded a video outlining the updates.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CiKTMe9InU)

 

**Page Layout**

- New tab layout for Collectors, Data Targets and Workflows
- Less boxy design for pages like the "Search" pages, Workflow Wizard, Data Table, File Upload, SFTP Client
- Other pages continue to use the card layout

**New Page Header**

- Includes: large bold heading, all-caps label, and subtitle that helps to easily identify the current page, example:

*WORKFLOW*

*Name of My Workflow*

*Latest Run Created: 1/1/2024, 12:00 PM*

- Created/Updated details are included in the page header behind an 'info' icon and display in a large tooltip
- Action Buttons appear on the right side and include relevant actions like Save, Favorite, Create Template, Run [Item], Edit [Item], etc.

**Workflows**

- New vertical tabs layout for Steps and Parameters
- New presentation for Workflow Run Details that now includes logs for each item (if the run still exists and hasn't been deleted from history)
- New presentation of "On Error Steps" as list and edited within drawer
- Workflow Steps “Continue on Error” toggle is now parameterized
- “Run Data Quality Report” workflow step fields “Deliver When” and “Stop Workflow” fields have been parameterized

**Parameters**

- New vertical tabs layout for editing parameters for Collectors, Queries, Data Targets, Workflows, and Tasks
- Parameter Editor form has vertical layout
- "Run" button on pages for Collectors, Queries, Data Targets, Workflows and Tasks will show parameters modal for updating parameter values prior to running the item

**Miscellaneous**

- New font: Lexend Deca
- Run Details updated to be more compact and less redundant
- Latest Run now appears in the page heading rather than a card in the right column
- Drawer component can be resized by dragging the left edge
- "Executions" renamed to "History"
- New option to duplicate Workflow Steps
- New option to duplicate Parameters
