Have you met Jeremiah Rodriguez yet? Jeremiah joined DataBlend in July and is our new Technical Integration Consultant. Read more about Jeremiah below.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in the Lone Star state of Texas. Upon finishing high school, I joined the Marine Corps, where I had the opportunity to live in Japan for a few years. After my service, I attended the University of Houston while working for Cimarron Inc Software Services. Here I provided technical support to end users and monitored company systems. After two years, I became a Database Developer at Waste Connections, where I received live production environment experience in handling RDBMS. I was then referred to DataBlend and began researching the job. It didn’t take long for me to realize that the DataBlend team and work accomplished here was something that I wanted to be a part of.
Tell me about your role.
My role on the team is to provide assistance on advanced SQL queries, scripting support, technical analysis, and general troubleshooting. Day-to-day technical problems are inevitable, but my technical background will allow me to assist DataBlend’s customers with the unique challenges they may face.
What are you most excited about working for DataBlend?
I am excited to help customers. I have come across many technical challenges during my career and understand the frustration when technology does not appear to be on your side. It feels very rewarding for me when I can help the customer resolve their issue.
Three fun facts about you?
- I love to travel and have visited Mexico, Japan, and Iceland.
- I did a tandem jump before, and my parachute malfunctioned! (No injuries, but I oddly still enjoyed it)
- I enjoy floating in the rivers here in Texas every summer.
How has automation changed the way you work?
Automation has significantly helped the way I work by cutting down time to completion without sacrificing data accuracy.
