DataBlend Spotlight: Have you met Olivia Ellis yet?

DB Meet OliviaHave you met Olivia Ellis yet? Olivia has recently been promoted to the position of Senior Customer Success Manager! We wanted to do a short introduction to celebrate this milestone with Olivia. Read about her below.

Where are you from?

I have lived in Connecticut my whole life. I grew up on the shoreline and went to the University of Connecticut. (Go, Huskies!) I now reside in Central Connecticut in Glastonbury.

Tell me about your role.

I am the Senior CSM here at DataBlend. I have spent the last two years developing our Customer Success department. My role is to make sure our clients and partners are getting the most out of DataBlend. This includes expansion opportunities, promotions, webinars, and all sorts of fun stuff!

What are you most excited about working for DataBlend?

The most exciting thing to me is being a part of a company that has so much room for growth. I have loved watching how much DataBlend has grown in the past two years since I started, and I can’t wait to see what’s next! I also love that every person at DataBlend has a voice. It means something to come to work every day, knowing that what I do and think matters and can make a difference. Every day is a little bit different, which keeps things exciting!

Three fun facts about you?

  1. I am one of 6 siblings! I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. (Family events/holidays are extremely loud!)
  2. I have an 80-pound German Shepherd mix and a 9-pound Tabby cat, which are best friends. Everyone thought we were crazy for getting a kitten with our “scary dog,” and now they love to play together!
  3. Reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I tend to read a lot of historical fiction novels. One of my favorite books is The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah.

What’s your favorite moment from the past year?

I went to London and Amsterdam this past June with my Aunt and two cousins. This was my first time overseas, and I couldn’t have had a better time! Both cities were incredibly beautiful, and I can’t wait to return. One day, we happened to run into Shaun White (Olympic Snowboarder) on the streets of Notting Hill. It was very cool!

How has automation changed the way you work?

Automation has helped streamline some of my day-to-day processes by taking out manual labor and limiting human error. This allows me to have more free time in my schedule to prioritize my high-value tasks. Instead of spending hours putting together email campaigns and generating reports, I can do all of that with a click of a button and focus my time on engaging with our customers.
