QA Specialist (US Remote or In the Office)

Reporting directly to the DataBlend Senior Product Manager, the QA Specialist’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Work with the services, product and development teams to document test cases and written test plans
- Perform and document risk analysis of each ticket
- Record test progress and results for all tickets
- Collaborate with DevOps to develop and code automated tests to enhance our testing capabilities
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing and work with engineering and product to fix
- Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
- Perform regression testing to Identify potential problems users might encounter.
- Perform manual and automated testing
- Research and analyze product features being tested
- Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality, report potential enhancements to streamline user experience
- Document new features and technical specifications to be published in company knowledge base and release notes in collaboration with DataBlend Product Manager.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Experience in QA, release, technical program management.
- Experience in an Agile, highly collaborative, team-based environment
- Experience developing API and UI test automation projects
- Strong understanding of web and browser technologies
Nice To Have But Not Required:
- BS and/or MS in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred)
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns
- Strong understanding of the Page Object Model testing design pattern
- Experience with software development languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript
- Experience with test automation tools
- Experience integrating automated testing processes with Continuous Integration tools
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Experience using source control solutions such as git
Salary Range: $60-95K
