Technical Integration Consultant (Remote)

Are you a technical professional with an interest in getting more involved in the accounting side of financial systems? Or have you worked with financial integrations in the past?

If you have a technical background and are business process savvy this is very likely your dream job! This is a great opportunity to work for a growing software company and help expand our Integration team. In this position, you will be using our iPaaS software to build integrations for our clients and provide strategic guidance on how our clients can automate their financial tech stack. Your technological acumen will be honed by problem solving and troubleshooting issues that arise in the integration process. Your mission will be to always exceed customer expectations (and have fun while you are doing it)! This position will be remote.

Reporting to the Director, Service Delivery, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

  • Become proficient with the DataBlend integration platform
  • Respond to client issues in a timely manner
  • Scripting creation and support (Javascript)
  • Installation of the DataBlend Agent and establishing database connections
  • Advanced Query Logic (Presto SQL/SQL)
  • API documentation evaluation for existing and net new connections
  • Technical analysis and support of other members of team
  • Troubleshoot errors in client integration workflows
  • Documentation/updates of best practices in DataBlend knowledgebase
  • Provide strategic recommendations to our clients on how to manage their financial system integrations and data
  • Assist in the identification of product growth and enhancement opportunities to better serve our clients and partners
  • Provide support to our channel of implementation partners on an as-needed basis
  • Other support duties as assigned

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong technical background
  • Highly skilled with scripting/coding and Presto/SQL
  • Knowledge of APIs, databases desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with cloud software a plus (Workday Adaptive Planning, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and/or Salesforce to name a few)
  • Strong project and time management skills
