Wrapping Up 2025: A Year of Growth and Innovation

As 2025 comes to a close, it’s clear this has been one of the most transformative years in DataBlend’s history. From joining the eOne family to rolling out powerful DataBlend enhancements to being recognized as Sage’s Global Technology Partner of the Year, this year has redefined what’s possible for our customers and our team. Before we turn the page to 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the milestones that shaped our growth and set the foundation for what's ahead.

Acquisition & Strategic Growth: Joining Forces with eOne Solutions

In April 2025, eOne Solutions acquired DataBlend, which was a major milestone that strengthened our foundation and expanded our capabilities. This acquisition underscores the value DataBlend delivers in finance and accounting integration and positions us for accelerated growth and broader reach.

We can’t let all the new team members have the spotlight; several of our veteran DataBlenders were also recognized this year with well-deserved promotions. Valentina Pereyaslavets stepped into the role of Lead Integration Solutions and Support Consultant; Jocelyn Pade advanced to Senior Product Manager; and Kristof Holm added to his CISO role with Senior Director of Product. These promotions reflect their hard work, leadership, and ongoing contributions to DataBlend’s growth and success.

Powerful Integrations & Expanded DataBlend Functionality

2025 was a year of major product innovation for DataBlend, with enhancements designed to make finance and accounting integrations, data management, and reporting faster, smarter, and more intuitive. From deeper Sage Intacct embedding to improved query building and UI upgrades, these updates deliver more seamless workflows and real-time insights for finance teams.

Some of our enhancements and expanded functionality are:

  • DataBlend is now natively embedded within Sage Intacct. That means finance teams can access DataBlend’s data integration and automation capabilities directly from within their Intacct workspace, eliminating the need to toggle between tools.
  • In 2025, we launched a more robust connection between Workday Adaptive Planning and Sage Intacct, now available on the Sage Intacct Marketplace. This gives companies using both platforms a seamless, automated bridge between budgeting/planning and accounting/financial close.
  • Following eOne's acquisition, DataBlend added Popdock to its portfolio. Popdock delivers real-time insights from CRM, payroll, billing, and operations directly within Sage Intacct, helping finance teams make faster, more informed decisions.
  • In June, DataBlend made significant enhancements to query building and performance. The Source Column Editor now leverages the same Expression Editor components used in Expression Builder, Join, and Where conditions, with a gear icon for easy expression type changes, copy/paste, and SQL code display. Performance has been improved by removing the previous drag-and-drop swap functionality. Added the ability to Distinguish SubQueries. The query builder new UI now supports shortcuts for quickly adding String Literals. The new Import Query tool allows users to import queries from other groups they are in without having to leave the group or page.
  • We made significant enhancements to the Data Table Editor and moved it out of Beta. A few improvements to call out include full screen and read only modes. A check for duplicates and blanks to easily remove. We also added filters to columns to mirror the filtering in excel along with copy/paste functionality
  • In April, DataBlend introduced UI enhancements designed to improve your experience. Adding new credentials, collectors, and data targets is now faster and more intuitive thanks to the switch from dropdowns to tile-based selections. Additionally, we’ve added a new side menu under Reports, featuring our latest addition: Active Workflows, making it easier to navigate and access key insights. DataBlend also introduced a new Data Section with improvements to the Data Source page. We also completely updated the pages for adding emails to Notifications and DQRs to improve the user experience and added attachments to DQRs and notifications now use local time zones.
  • One of our top priorities this year was expanding DataBlend’s integration capabilities. Every organization’s tech stack is unique, and seamless connectivity is essential for driving efficiency. That’s why we’re excited to share that we launched 12 new connections. This year we added, Workday REST, Plaid, Chargebee, Tessitura for Sage Intacct, iSolved, Google BigQuery, S3, Square, Giving Data, Bill, Zoho Expense, and Deel. Not to be outshone by the new connections, we also expanded the breadth and depth with updates to 52 existing connectors, which included big improvements with ADP, Sage Intacct Construction, Sage Intacct REST, HubSpot new Commerce endpoints, Procore and Xero.
  • We achieved SOC 2 compliance for the fifth year, while also renewing certification under the ISO 27001:2022 standard underscores DataBlend’s strong commitment to protecting customer data. This accomplishment highlights the company’s focus on maintaining the highest standards of security, availability, and confidentiality, reflecting both the trust clients place in DataBlend, and its ongoing drive for operational excellence.
